A couple of weeks ago we posted a draft of metaphor poem.
We had to improve our writing and add more description.
We were learning to use language features appropriately showing a developing understanding of effect.
I did well on improving my metaphor poem but what could make it better is by adding a bit more detail.

Taleisha is candyfloss, ideas sticking in her mind.
Taleisha is a pencil case, full of knowledge and thoughts.
Taleisha is a Kauri tree, protecting the little Kowhai trees
Taleisha is a bewildered emoji, curious to learn new things
Taleisha is a toasted sandwich, that is warm and inviting
