Bay bush action!!!

Last week in Te Ngahere, 2 people from bay bush action came to our class. Their names were Stella and Brad. They showed us possums, Kiwi and Hedgehogs. They demonstrated us how they used a trap and the bait they use to catch rats, stoats and other pests that kill native birds. We also got to see pictures of different native and endemic birds and insects. They placed traps around our school to catch any rats in our creek. We hope that our school will be the first rat free school in New Zealand! Here are some photos of we did!

  1. Churr Taliesha,
It’s Saff. Your Bay Bush Action post is very cool, Do you know what our WALT was? You need to teach me how to insert the photo properly. I find it very sad that we didn’t go on our bush walk. Thank you for posting.
