Thumbs by Sabrina Carpenter
Somewhere in the world there is a father and a mother and the father is a son who has a mother. The mother has a daughter who gets married to the brother of a mother and there all just tryna multiply with one another.

Cause that's just the way of the world. It never ends till the end then you start again. That's just the way of the world, that's just the way of the world.

Somewhere in the world they think their working for themselves. They get up everyday to go to work for someone else and somebody works for them so they think they got it made but their all just working to get paid the very same.

And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs, skiddly dee da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum dum. And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly de da dum dum.

Somewhere in the world you got a robber and a bank and the bank robbed the people so the people robbed the bank. And the police came to get him but they let him get away because their all just working to get paid the very same.

Cause that's just the way of the world, it never ends till the end then you start again. That's just the way of the world, that's just the way of the world.

And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum dum. And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly de da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly de da dum dum.

Don't believe everything that you hear, Let it go through your left and right ear, don't just march to the beat of that drum, don't be one of those people just twiddling them thumbs.

Cause that's just the way of the world it never ends till the end then you start again. That's just the way of the world that's just the way of the world.

And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum dum. And so they keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum. They gonna keep on twiddling them thumbs skiddly dee da dum dum. Cause that's just the way of the world.

I run towards the room where my patients are waiting to receive treatment from the doctor. Just as I arrive at the door to their room I hear another loud bang and I tumble on the deck but I manage to get up and push open the door. My hands tremble but I mange to help the soldiers who have sustained injuries. Then it strikes again. This time it throws me across the room but I don't sustain any injuries though. I turn and see that medical equipment is strewn all over the place. I rush over to help nurses who are underneath equipment. I wait for the next bang but it never comes and that, is a relief.

It isn't fair because if men only vote then women think they aren't important and think that their voices are useless and they shouldn't be heard.

Bonus activity: In Flanders's Fields
It made me feel kind of sad because of the sacrifices they made to save our country but it also made me happy because they made us proud and defended our country as best as they could.

Ocean Conservation!

On Monday the year six’s had a visitor come in. Her name was Libby and she is an Ocean Conservationist. She studies Marine animals and her favourite animal is a seal. She likes them because they are the most playful sea animal she has ever studied. She also has a bike made of bamboo! She teaches kids all over the world. I have learnt how long a small manta ray is (4.5 meters) and a large one (8 meters). I really enjoyed Libby coming in.

Slideshow about america!!!

Our group’s WALT was to find information about the world around us and our success criteria is :
-I can use map skills to find locations.
-I can scan texts to find information
-I can read texts to make connections with different countries and cultures.
I think our group did well and we found facts that amazed us. We worked collaboratively in our groups to make a slide show. I think we need to add more interesting facts to our slide show. We enjoyed making the slideshow because we got to get creative.
