Day 3: The great depression

Activity 1: Dealing with stress
I like to listen to my favourite music, watch a great movie and do anti-stress colouring.

Activity 2: Offering a helping hand
Idea 1: Bake sale
Idea 2: Selling things you no longer need
Idea 3: Do raffles

Bonus activity: Paying it forward
I would give new clothes, delicious food, games and school supplies

  1. Hi Taleisha,

Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! It's great to see that you've been keeping up with these activities. Well done!

Activity 1: Those sound like great things to do when you're stressed. Listening to music always helps me stay calm too. What sort of music do you like to listen to?

Activity 2: Great ideas! Bake sales are always lots of fun. I've done lots of bake sales before to raise money for certain things and I find that cupcakes always sell very well. What would you make for a bake sale?

Bonus activity: Those sound like lots of helpful things for the people back in the 1930s! They would have appreciated all of that, I'm sure. What sorts of games would you have taken? I would have taken Cluedo and Guess Who cause they were some of my favourites when I was younger.

I look forward to reading more of your blog over the summer.
