  1. Hi Taleisha,

My name's Ruby and I'm one of the people who will be blogging with you as part of the Summer Learning Journey program. It's great to see that you have been doing so well with these activities!

Activity 1: Well done. You have translated those sentences very nicely. In the second sentence, don't forget to add your name in the Maori translation! For example, 'my name is Ruby' translates into 'ko Ruby toku ingoa'.

Activity 2: Those sound like fun activities! I've been to Waitangi a few times and always enjoy it there. I have never had a ride down the river before though! Which activity would you want to do first?

Bonus activity: Good questions! I wonder what he would say. One of the questions I would have asked is how long he had to train each day. Do you play any sports? I don't but I do enjoy watching my brother play soccer every now and again.

I look forward to reading more of your blog over summer.
    Cheers,
    Ruby.
