My awesome moment in time writing!!

Last week in Te Ngahere we wrote a piece of writing about the forest. Our WALT was to use present tense and have descriptive language in our writing. I think I did well on adding description in my writing. I think I could work on adding a bit more to my story. Hope you enjoy my writing!

Moment in time

The canopy of trees hang above the bobbing heads. Speaks of sunlight, dancing on the muddy track. Overhanging branches, hitting unaware humans. The lush bush home to amazing creatures. Amongst the trees are bright and colourful fungi, cloaking from the harsh sun and relocating into the darkness of the tree. If you close your eyes a melodic bird tune will play. Creatures prowl up to their pray waiting for the perfect time to pounce. The sense of being in the forest with the birds, creatures and forest delices fills you with a pacifying feeling as you leave the forest.
